Time does fly by when you are doing what you like. Additionally at Outplay, the entire process is built to make the life of a Sales Rep extremely easy!

To summarize, these are the highlights of my activities & tasks

  1. Lead generation; to keep up with the team and hit my targets, I gotta add 60 new contacts
  2. Linkedin Prospecting; use customized blurbs to connect with relevant activities of prospects

2. Follow, like and share to warm up leads, when they follow me back, connect and start a conversation (that's how I got my first meeting)

3. Learned the call scripts and started practicing with the team

5. Prospecting; Handling objections by posting responses on slack

6. Learned best practices regarding the responses on emails & LinkedIn

One of the best practices worth noting is the idea of running team sequences instead of individual email sequences. This helps in experimenting faster and learning much quicker when the entire team is A/B testing the same email

My day is extremely collaborative in nature. We would post the queries on our team Slack channel to invite input and suggestions from the other team members on how to handle prospects. This might sound like a trivial detail of my initial days but this is the very part of my journey that would ensure I learn and ramp quickly, ensuring best practices are followed across the entire team!

I ended my week with booking 2 meetings, generated 300 Sales Qualified Leads, created 2 engagement videos for Linkedin, 2 blog posts & ran a few miles with the script and objections handling, and a whole lot of fun with the team.

I want to leave you guys on the following note — Outplay has managed to reduce the degree of “spray and pray” in prospecting out of the life of a sales rep.

On that note, bye for now, and stay tuned for more!
